On 9 October, the second LiT Aero Conference 2025 by Luchtvaart in Transitie (LiT), brought together more than 300 experts and innovators from across the aviation ecosystem. The conference centered on increasing progress in aviation, its central theme this year being ‘Maintaining Momentum in a Changing World. How do we keep moving forward – together – when the world around us is in flux?’
Erik Geertsema, our Chief Executive Officer, joined the panel on the plenary session “Charting a Wise Course: Combining Sustainable Competitiveness and Competitive Sustainability”, along with Lodewijk Asscher (Dutch Sustainable Aviation Round Table), Jolanda Stevens (Zero Emission Aviation, KLM), Wilma van Dijk (Rotterdam The Hague Airport), Ivor van Dartel (VÆRIDION) and Nikhil Sachdeva (Centre for Aerospace & Aviation Sustainability).
This year’s LiT Aero Conference showcased many different innovators, each tackling unique aviation challenges. With the future of aviation hinging on our ability to innovate and work together, it’s great to see so many players being united in building the future of aviation.
